Will I be sharing a room with strangers?
No, Red Lock rooms are all booked as private rooms, therefore whether you book as a group of 2 or 6, you will always have the room to yourself.

 

 

Is the door really locked?
The room escape games real life setting is completely immersive once you’re inside. However, for the safety and enjoyment of all players, a participant may exit a live room escape game at any time. Keep in mind, once a player exits they will not be allowed to re-enter.

 

 

What should I bring with me?
Your inner Sherlock Holmes! The answers to the clues, riddles and puzzles are all in the room, but you will be looking for clues, working with your team mates, and applying logic reasoning to escape. We have an allocated space for your belongings inside lockers, reading glasses are recommended. Unfortunately, food or opened drinks cannot be taken into the rooms.

 

 

What happens if I need to cancel/reschedule?
We ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule, to ensure we can help and process a refund if you wish to cancel. If you provide us with less than 24 hours notice or do not attend then your session will be cancelled and no refund will be provided. If you need to reschedule a time with less than 24 hours notice then a $40 reschedule fee will be due.

 

 

Is there a minimum age?
Red Lock Escape Rooms welcome players of all ages to our Steampunk Time Lab and children under 7 can play for free with an accompanying adult. 
 
Area 51, Asylum, Mob Job, Area 52 and Bank Heist are all recommended for players 10+.
 
(*Please note that Aunt Annie’s Asylum has mature themes and might not be suitable for children)

 

What time should I arrive?
All players should arrive 5-10 minutes before the scheduled time. To provide the best experience for all participants, the game doors cannot be re-opened once the game begins.

 

 

Can I pay a cash to book?
We accept cash in store to book a future time. To book online or over the telephone we do need a credit/debit card payment to reserve the time slot for you. Unfortunately we cannot reserve a time for you without a payment.

 

Can I hire a room for a private event?

What measures has Red Lock taken to prevent the spread of the coronavirus?
We have implemented measures effective immediately to ensure our venues remain clean and coronavirus-free. All surfaces are wiped clean with anti-bacterial wipes after each game, and additionally we are requesting that all players use our hand sanitizer before the commencement of each escape room game. We ask any players experiencing symptoms (fever, dry cough) to please contact us to cancel / postpone your booking.
 
Escape rooms are privately booked games – so you will never be in close contact with strangers. It is a great safe activity to enjoy away from crowds.
